Life during Corona Virus

Restriction of movement, formation of quarantine, introduction of measures of social distance, closing of schools, universities ...  All this marked the beginning of the epidemic of the Corona Virus in my country. The truth is that some of us are at higher risk of infection. Here I would primarily list medical workers, then people with pre-existing diseases and the elderly.

At first, the introduction of police hour did not sound so terrible. We all expected to be closed in our homes for a couple of weeks, and soon get back to normal. However, disrespecting the measures and irresponsibility of individuals, leads to the situations that police hour lasts until the middle of May. Realizing that this would all take more time than I thought, I wanted to make the most of the situation. In addition to my daily obligations, I decided to dedicate myself to reading. In addition to all that I had a lot of free time again. I missed my friends, especially those who live abroad. Although many ways to communicate with each other are available today, their closeness was lacking. Time passed so slowly. Missing and waiting for all this to stop, caused sadness in me. Despite the fear and some dose of concern, we were "bombarded" with various information every day, and I would say misinformation.

I am a third grade student at the Medical High School, which I attend in Prijedor. By declaring an epidemic, schools have been closed. The introduction of online teaching for all was a novelty. To be honest, in the beginning I didn't do very well. There was a lot of independent work, a lot of writing and copying, which is not the case when we are in school. Day after day, online classes also became routine. I think that this is a very useful thing, and that it will serve us a lot when we continue the new school year, and further education.

As far as our country in particular is concerned, the end of the epidemic has not yet been declared. Slowly, the measures are easing, but there is still fear among all of us, fear in all of us. I just hope that all this will come to an end one day, because Corona virus had disrupted plans for the whole year.

I hope that people, after all this, will realize the true values of freedom, and that they will appreciate every moment spent with people who mean something to them, because as we have seen, the world can stop in a second.
