
The internship programme of Regional Youth Compact for Europe has officially started in Kosovo on the 1st of February. LDA Kosovo welcomed its first intern from Albania, Xheni Shehaj.
Xheni joined the LDAK team in Peja where she is working on writing project proposals, assisting project implementation tasks as well as different activities LDAK will be holding during February. She will spend one month in Peja as part of LDAK’s team.
The Regional Youth Compact for Europe Internship programme offers one-month internship for Balkan youth in one of the offices of the project partners for the period of December 2019- April 2020.
The internship program aims to provide a framework for young people in the region to gain firsthand experience about the functioning of CSOs and the work they do but also to assist in finding out and establishing innovative, youth friendly, forms and content of communication, leading to increased youth participation in civil initiatives, policy design and structured dialogue.
Regional Youth Compact for Europe is implemented by the Center for Democracy Foundation, European ALDA network and the ALDA – Western Balkans Network for Local Democracy, CRTA, Youth Act and Sodem. This project is funded by the European Union and the Balkan Trust for Democracy, a project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
