Western Balkans Fund organized its “Awarding Ceremony” online to celebrate together the success with grantees of the WBF 3rd Call for Proposals.
This Award Ceremony is a traditional event that marks the commencement of the stage within the grant management of WBF, but this year, due to COVID19 restrictions, decided to organize the ceremony virtually.
Part of the award ceremony were all 24 grantees of the 3rd Call for Proposals that enabled them share their ideas also learn from our founders how important regional cooperation is even in unusual circumstances.
Participants of the award ceremony were addressed by WBF Executive Director Gjergj Murra and representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs from #WesternBalkans showing great support for the process.
BNLD was awarded a grant via the Western Balkans fund for the project CulTours.
It’s a one-year project that involves 5 countries from the Western Balkans (BiH, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia) with an overall objective, to contribute to regional cooperation and regional cohesion in WB6 through cultural cooperation and activities for sustainable growth.
Our aim is to create youth friendly tools in order to support local sustainable development of micro-localities though income generating activities and tourism and reinforce the cooperation and networking among different stakeholders on local and regional level.
BNLD will officially start the implementation of the project in June 2020
