The measures for Covid19 won’t prevent the Youth Compact team members to continue their work. On the 6th of April 2020, with the help of online tools, the project team of Regional Youth Compact for Europe held a coordination meeting in the final stages of the second year of implementation.
The meeting covered the ongoing and future activities, as well as administrative procedures that will follow in the transition from the second to the third year of the project.
As the different measures in the Western Balkans countries prevented the implementation of some activities, the main topic of the meeting was to create now approaches and find innovative solutions to continue with the planed actions.
Several alternative approaches were proposed and every partner proposed ideas appropriate for their aria of implementation. Special importance was given to different approaches based on communication tools in order to better reach the target group.
Even though the measures in our respective countries made us stay at home, we continue to work on our project and the bring the Western Balkan closer to the EU.
This activity was implemented in the framework of the project Regional Youth Compact for Europe financially supported by the European union and the Balkan Trust for Democracy, a project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
