On 22-23 September 2020 in Nikšić, Montenegro was held the closing conference and also announced the end of the project Monumental9. 

This project come up with online trainings for young local greeters, vloggers and bloggers. The main outcome was the creation of 3 pilot tours to promote memorial tourism. The first trip was in Konjic, Jablanica, Mostar and Nikšić, second expedition was Brezovica, Kruševo, Niš and the last travel was Prijedor, Šid and Užice.

An interactive and friendly web site containing audio, visual and written narratives of the nine magnificent monuments from the WW2 is created.

The follow up of Monumental9 is our new CulTours project creating mobile application for promotion and shared cultural heritage. It is funded by Western Balkan Fund.

The project is supported by Regional Cooperation Council through the Tourism Development and Promotion Project's Grant Programme and funded by European Union.

The project is implemented by the Local Democracy Agency Montenegro along with partners: LDA Mostar, LDA Kosovo, LDA Zavidovici, LDA Prijedor, LDA Knjazevac, LDA Subotica & ALDA Skopje and draws on the cultural heritage monuments dedicated to WWII in the Western Balkans.
