In the framework of the implementation of the IPA operating grant, in 2015 ALDA launched the Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue, which aims at improving youth participation and unfold dialogue by using the platform for exchange of information and experience. ALDA Skopje participates in the project along with seven Balkan LDA partners from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo.
Vevcani is the main partner in this project in Macedonia. Many activities foreseen in this project will be implemented in Vevcani: youth exchanges, debates, job shadowing activities, etc.
ALDA and Vevcani have been cooperating for many years, mainly through the program for decentralised cooperation between the Lower Normandy and Macedonia. This agreement not only sets the basis for the implementation of this European project on youth participation, but also opens possibilities for several cooperation and project ideas. The training also included the visit to the local museum and the meeting where the youth could meet the municipality youth council representatives from Knjazevac.
The training is part of the IPA Operational Grant, Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue Project, coordinated by ALDA with eight Balkans Partners: ALDA Skopje, LDA Mostar, LDA Knjazevac, LDA Subotica, LDA Prijedor, LDA Zavidovici, LDA Peja and LDA Niksic.
