Two regional online trainings for young local greeters, vloggers and bloggers were organised on 14th and 15th of July 2020 in the framework of the Monumental9 project.
The project is implemented by the Local Democracy Agency Montenegro along with partners: LDA Mostar, LDA Kosovo, LDA Zavidovici, LDA Prijedor, LDA Knjazevac, LDA Subotica & ALDA Skopje and draws on the cultural heritage monuments dedicated to WWII in the Western Balkans. The main objective is to create preconditions for new regional tourism products development while increasing youth employability and income generating activities through engaging micro-localities across the region.
In that perspective, both trainings provided information on what greeters, bloggers and vloggers should be doing to promote cultural heritage monuments in their own cities. The online program has established a range of presentations to assist and equip young people with skills and competences to contribute to sustainable tourism and promotion of their local community’s richness.
The project is supported by Regional Cooperation Council through the Tourism Development and Promotion Project's Grant Programme and funded by European Union.
