In the period from 4th to 6th September 2020, in the hotel "Kraljevi čardaci" on Kopaonik, a two-day seminar “Brus and Youth” was held. Twenty participants from the municipality of Brus attend the seminar. 

The workshops within the seminar were organized by two professional lecturers. They opened a dialogue about the involvement of young people at the local level, a realization of democratic rights through the implementation of youth policy, their needs, and active participation in society, as well as employment opportunities.

During the realization of the seminar, the participants demonstrated a high level of involvement and interaction. They were very interested in topics related to the European Union, creating direct actions, and the ways of getting a job in their local community. 

As a result of the seminar, the youngsters created five direct actions that will be implemented independently of this project, presenting in that way acquired knowledge from the seminar, through the immediate actualization of those actions.

In the next period, the second phase of the project will continue with the creation of the platform "Youth center Brus".

This activity was organized by “Youth center Brus” form Serbia within the Youth Fund “We have a say” in the framework of the project Regional Youth compact for Europe.
