The Balkan Youth Forum 2017 was organized in Peja and Prishtina, Kosovo. The topic of the forum, which is being organized for a third time, is “Cultural youth participation in focus”. The event engaged 70 participants from the Balkans to attend panel sessions, discussions, debates, movie screenings, field visits and meetings with local authorities in the Municipality of Peja.
As part of the forum, a tool fair was organized with the assistance of SALTO-YOUTH Euromed Resource Center and Good Practices during the final day of the forum. The young participants shared innovative tools on the topics of cultural participation and intercultural exchange.
The tool fair presented a unique opportunity for the youngsters involved in the Regional network to share the experiences they got during their work on the project activities, but also to learn new useful tools by other participants.
The third Balkan Youth Forum lasted from the 18th to the 20th of October. After the previous successful forums in Subotica and Mostar, the forum in Kosovo gathered more youth representatives and representatives of local authorities of the involved Balkan countries and the European Union.
