From 26 until 28 December 2015, the partners of the Balkan regional platform for youth participation and dialogue, met in Macedonia to discuss the end of the first and the beginning of the second year of their cooperation.
On 27 December, the partners held a coordination meeting and successfully closed this year’s work. The first step towards finalising the work of this year was to assess the past activities. During the meeting, the partners discussed the challenges and the results obtained in each country. Through evaluation of the year 2015, they adopted the Regional Network Strategy.
The next day, during a public promotion at the EU Info Centre in Skopje, the project was presented in front of the local public, authorities, and youth experts. The partners pointed out that the local authorities are crucial stakeholder in the public policies and the youth must have a key role in their creation. They each discussed the youth status in their respective countries, and the impact of the project on local level. The Youth Workers also addressed the public, and shared their Job shadowing experiences. The presentation of the Network finished with perspectives for the future and the new partnerships that emerged from the year one.
