Youngsters of Skopje, had that opportunity to get acquainted with the project Regional Youth Compact for Europe at FON University during their Graduation ceremony and Career fair on the 17th April 2019. 

Youth Compact joined the great number of business, institutions and organizations, presenting their projects and business activities to students and professors from the University.  The students showed interest in the activities of the project Regional Youth Compact for Europe connected to the Rule of law and the Chapters 19: Social policy and Employment and Chapter 23: Judiciary and Fundamental rights and especially how the project aim is to increase the youth participation in EU integrations. They talked about the importance of trainings and workshops as tools of developing the capacities of youngsters in order to become an active citizen in their community.  

The project “Regional youth compact for Europe” is implemented by the Center for Democracy Foundation, Balkan Network for Local Democracy, CRTA, Youth Act and Sodem. This project is funded by the European Union and the Balkan Trust for Democracy, a project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.

YOUTH IN THE BALKANS: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo*, Serbia, FYR Macedonia COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS AND PRACTICE (2018)

The purpose of this study is to provide analysis on the key challenges that young people face, together with related policy and legal responses in the Western Balkans, which were addressed within the research component of the multi-annual project Balkan regional platform for youth participation and dialogue, implemented from 2015-2018 by the European Association for Local Democracy (ALDA), the Local Democracy Agencies: Central and Southern Serbia, Subotica, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Mostar, Prijedor, Zavidovici in Bosnia and Herzegovina and ALDA Skopje.
