LDA Mostar, within the project "Balkan Regional Platform for youth participation and dialogue"
organized Youth Art Workshop from 15th-19th June. The workshop was held in the premises of the
School of Music on the Square Musala in Mostar. 20 Young people in a creative way, led by a
moderator, through photography and video, expressed their attitudes towards certain problems,
obstacles and desires of the city on the Neretva river. Through this encouraged teamwork, and
established dialogue, young people were actively listening and asking questions, and exchange
experiences.
During the workshop these young people had a chance to know each other, and
have taken the concept of artistic expression, learning how to recognize the real problem
and how to record it, process and prepare for exibition, which was organized on 25th of June
where the visitors had the opportunity to see interesting work done creatively through photography
in unique way, where young artists expressed their viewing of the future. Five of the best works,
which will be later selected by the Commission, will be part of the Balkan traveling exhibition,
organized by the end of this year in eight Balkan cities / municipalities in five Balkan countries
(Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro)
"Balkan Regional Platform for youth participation and dialogue" is financed by the European
Commission, through the Civil Society Facility, Operating Grants to IPA CSO Associations
Support to regional thematic associations, implemented during 2015 in five countries of the
region: Bosnia and Herzegovina (Mostar, Prijedor, Zavidovici), Serbia (Knjazevac, Subotica),
Montenegro (Niksic), Kosovo (Peja) and Macedonia (Skopje).
