On the 13th of August, in Dojran, the three-day training "The first step to becoming an active youth - Mechanisms for youth participation in decision-making processes" started. The training is attended by 8 volunteers of the Youth Information Center "INFO SEGA" Kavadarci, Progress Plus Kavadarci and Council of Youth of the Municipality of Kavadarci.
The youngsters were introduced to the basic mechanisms for youth participation in the decision making processes and acquired skills for successful delivery of peer education (communication skills, presenting skills and giving feedback, using different training techniques ...).
This three-day training is part of the project "Join us to be active together", which is supported by the Youth Fund of the Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue, which has been realized for the fourth year at regional level by 7 Local Agencies democracy and ALDA Skopje in 5 Balkan countries. Through local and regional activities, the platform aims to increase awareness of youth participation, youth activism and opportunities for young people to create and be part of decision making. "
