A set of local activities were organized on the 5th and 6th of March 2021 by Local Democracy Agency of Kosovo within the project Regional Youth Compact for Europe.
The first day started with the activity “Monitoring Reforms Locally” and the topic adressed with young people was the Law enforcment in Kosovo. This activity had the aim to make students from law school to refect on law enforcment in Kosovo and create a debate between them about different situation and work of the institutions. By the end of workshop the activity was combined with the direct street action with key messages which refect the young students oppinions. With a symbolic march in the city center, young people expressed their dissent about the work of institutions.
The second day was a full day workshop, and the topics covered: Human rights with a special focus on disscrimination and public amdministration reforms. The workshop was very intercative, except the simple concepts that were given to the students, the activity was combined with debate, different case study and the role of the students was to analyze and give their opsinions and “judgments” by collecting all the group members ideas and refecting with other groups.
This activities gave to the young students the opportunity to understand better the work of institutions, how much do they apply the laws and the way how can they react in case there are dissatisfaction.
