ALDA Skopje in cooperation with Municipality of Vevcani, on 15 August 2015, organized a focus group on the topic of youth and their influence on social change. The focus group was held in the Youth Center in Vevcani. Living in small community and facing youth challenges was the issue that 15 youngsters from Vecani started discussing and shared their point of view.
The activity, as part of a research, aimed to explore the position of youth in the Balkans. The communities with less opportunities were in focus of the research. Along with the focus groups, interviews and field research were carried out. The research was conducted through local experts from 8 different municipalities on the Balkans and the results will be presented on Youth Forum for Democracy – Subotica in September.
The research is part of the Balkan regional platform for youth participation and dialogue project. The project is funded by EU through IPA Operational Grant, Civil society facility, implemented by ALDA in partnership with ALDA Skopje, LDA Mostar, LDA Knjazevac, LDA Subotica, LDA Prijedor, LDA Zavidovici, LDA Peja and LDA Niksic where the research was conducted.
