As a part of Youth Taking Over Day, Local Democracy Agency Mostar (LDA Mostar) together with the Youth Council of the City of Mostar (VMGM) and the Youth Cultural Center Abrašević (OKC Abrašević) organize a public forum with the symbolic name "Five to Twelve" intended for the meeting of the young people of the City of Mostar with candidates for the 2018 General Elections that fall into the category of young people up to 30 years of age. Public forum will be held on September 18, 2018 at 11:55 in the premises of OKC Abrašević in Mostar.
All interested in participating in the public forum can apply from 6 August, 2018 till August, 31, 2018.
The aim of this public forum is to give young people Mostar a chance to engage in constructive dialogue with representatives of the political options and to have the opportunity to ask questions about the possibilities of contributing to the local community. The public forum is conceived in such a way that every representative of political options has enough time to present his political plan, present his motives and work program of his political option aimed at improving the position of young people in City of Mostar.
The reason for organizing this public forum is the fact that the City Council of the City of Mostar has not formally been in existence since 2012, and that local elections in the City have not been held for 10 years. According to this, generation of young people of this City never had the opportunity to vote or to be elected. LDA Mostar, VMGM and OKC Abrašević will, as in the previous period, put the emphasis on young people and give them the opportunity to express their opinions and attitudes freely, democratically and arguably in the spirit of dialogue culture.
Open Call for participation in a public forum will be published through the following websites: www.ldamostar.org; www.vmgm.ba; http://okcabrasevic.org/, as well as on the Facebook pages of the organizer. All interested can register via following LINK
