Municipality of Peja opens its doors to Balkan youngsters


The third Balkan Youth Forum was officially opened on the 18th of October in Peja, Kosovo with the official visit at the Municipality Hall.

Representatives of the municipality welcomed the young participants and the delegates from 7 LDAs and ALDA Skopje as part of the official opening of the forum. Together, they discussed the topic of cultural participation together with the 70 participants from 5 Balkan countries: Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

An opening session at the City Theatre “Jusuf Gervalla” followed, during which representatives of youth organizations and cultural institutions were exchanging good practices focusing on cultural participation of youth.

Finally, the first day of the Balkan Youth Forum was wrapped up with screening of movies and short videos about culture in the region, including winning videos of Anibar Festival, that was held in Kosovo this year.
