On Friday 4th of September, the visual stories and photos realized by young participants of this summer photo workshop, were presented to Knjaževac audience. The opening ceremony took place in the Great Gallery of the Cultural Centre, on the topic "Knjaževac has a future, but what kind of future?"
Young people used images from the archives of "Knjaževac newspaper" as inspiration to tell how they see their life in Knjaževac today and in the future.This event is part of the celebration of 37 years since the first edition of Knjaževac newspapers, ''Knjaževačke novine'', in cooperation with the Library "Njegoš" and LDA Knjaževac. The photo workshop was realized with the support of the photo collective Belgrade Raw Knjaževac.
This activity was held within the framework of the program "Balkan regional platform for dialogue and participation of young people of the Balkans", financially supported by IPA Operational Grant project funded by the EU, through the program Civil Society Facility - Operating Grants to IPA CSO Associations. The program is coordinated by the Association of the Local Democracy Agencies together with 8 LDAs from 5 Balkan countries: Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.
